About MADD
I'm Maddy, also Madd, Mads, Madeline, Madison, really whatever you want to call me. I answer to anything.
I'm 24, four years married to my husband Austin, and completely insufferable about our wiener dog Pam. Five years doing hair, and I'm a perfectionist about extensions and color with strong opinions about both that you'll hear about pretty quickly.
I've been at Seven Salon since it opened in 2024, and before that I was at Habit Salon. My clients tend to stick around, mostly for the hair and a little for the conversation.
Outside the salon I'm reading, going to concerts (dad rock, obviously), watching comedy movies, and convincing Austin that Pam needs to come on every trip. He always agrees.
Five years in, I still think most people have settled for extensions that don't work for them. You shouldn't have to pick a compromise. You don't have to.
The Method
And I do. I've worn extensions for years, which means I know exactly what comfortable feels like and I know immediately when something's off. That's the standard every install gets held to.
For too long, clients have been told to just pick their compromise: length or comfort, volume or longevity, looking natural or actually being able to afford it. I don't accept that. Every install gets customized around your hair's density, texture, and growth pattern because what works for one person's hair doesn't work for another's. I constantly update my approach, the products I use, and the way I work. The four things I'm always measuring against: comfort, blend, invisibility, and how long it actually lasts.
Sewn-in, distributed to mimic your natural growth pattern. No concentrated pull points, no tension damage. The hair I use is remy, hand tied, cuticle intact, humanely sourced, and checked for inversion. I'm always looking for something better. Haven't found it yet.
01
The Before
Natural hair, assessed for density, texture, and growth pattern before anything touches it.
02
The Beads
Strategically placed to distribute weight evenly and keep the hair balanced. No tension, no pulling.
03
The Sew-In
Clean, tight stitches. Comfortable to wear, won't tangle. This part matters more than most stylists admit.
04
The After
Blended, finished, undetectable. Nobody should be able to tell.

FAQ
Everything you're probably wondering but haven't asked. If yours isn't here, text me.
Extensions start at $1,800. I choose the best hair for your specific needs, so pricing varies depending on what your hair actually requires. Move-up maintenance starts at $200 and happens every 7-10 weeks. Text me photos of your current hair and your goal and I'll give you a real number.
A first install is typically 2-3 hours. If we're doing color the same day, add 3 hours — so plan for 5-6 hours total. Move-ups are shorter. We have snacks, drinks, and movies to make it comfortable, and I'll give you a time estimate when we talk before your appointment.
Of course. We'll consult for up to 20 minutes at the start, then the time is yours. I may need your opinion or ask a few questions while I work, but otherwise you're free to do whatever you need to.
Depends mostly on home care and the length you're going for. Extensions don't grow or get oil from your scalp the way your natural hair does, so they break and shrink over time. Good products and regular trims keep them looking nice longer, but they do wear out. Typically 7-10 months, though clients who take really good care of theirs get a full year.
Yes. Every situation is different so I always recommend a text consult first, but fine or low-density hair is workable. The way I distribute weight during installation is designed to be safe for even fine hair, as long as you follow the home care instructions.
Probably not. Shorter hair just means we need more rows to blend it out properly. Text me for a consult and quote.
The products you use matter more than most people think. I recommend Goldwell, Iles Formula, and Formula 18 — extension-safe lines that keep both your natural hair and the extensions healthy. Sulfate-free shampoo, conditioner on the ends only. I'll point you in the right direction at your appointment.
Not with proper installation and home care. The damage people associate with extensions usually comes from poor placement, too much weight, or skipping maintenance. My installs are designed to distribute weight evenly, and I'll walk you through exactly how to care for them at home.
